POETyRannyY

POETyRannY is fun for folks of all ages!  Mass murdering, mass deporting presidents got you down?  Fascist, racist, xenophobic, alleged rapist presidential candidates emotionally devouring you from the inside out?  Right wing extremism and religious predators making you want to scream and purge the overwhelming fury from your body?

Just take speeches they have made, which include their offensive and demeaning, life taking, hateful narratives and rework them by rearranging their words into what they really should/would say if they had a shred of humanity, heart, brain, ethics, compassion or kindness inside of their hate-shriveled skin.  All POETyRannY submissions are welcome!

Barack Obama would like to apologize for his mass murder of civilians:

Tonight

Tonight

Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Afghanistan, Somalia

tonight I want to talk to you

A father clutching his dead children

a crime against humanity

a decade of war in Iraq and Afghanistan

a crime against humanity.

Tonight.

Tonight.

tonight I want to talk to you

I

can kill on a mass scale

with no distinction between soldier and infant

I

fired rockets into neighborhoods.

and hospitals filled with the dying and the wounded

Tonight I want to talk to you.

Tonight

Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Afghanistan, Somalia

I have resisted

Our common sense of humanity

When dictators commit atrocities, they depend upon the world to look the other way

until those horrifying pictures fade from memory.

But these things happened.

what happened to those people — to those children

Let me explain

I have a deeply held preference for

tyranny and extremism

As commander in chief

Of the

Terrorist

United States

I am

doing nothing to prevent innocent civilians

moms and dads; daughters and sons

from

a cancer that has no immediate cure.

the United States of America.

Tonight, I want to talk with you about this terrorism, and how we can

be enemies of human rights, — especially me —

I

attack civilians.

and kill innocent people.

This is not a world we should accept

I

have the capacity to do great harm. exploit grievances

I

kill children. Genocide.

here’s what I want you to know

our nation, since its founding

is terrorist.

It’s our responsibility

This is American

terrorism at its best:

we

fight humanity.

Tonight.

Tonight.

Tonight, I want to talk to you.

degrade

and destroy

the President of the United States of America.

Sieze

Peace.

Tonight.

Donald Trump would like to apologize for being Donald Trump.

atrophy: by Donald Trump(‘s edited speeches to AIPAC, speech on foreign policy, speech upon securingpresumptive nominee status and ‘Democracy in Action’ speech)

I love the people

The people

that can’t be broken

not one heart can be wasted.

After losing thousands of lives

We need to

seek common ground

radical change.

I will not hesitate

the war and aggression we so stupidly and foolishly

do even more

the many horrible acts of terror.

It is a problem in Iraq, a problem in Syria, a problem in Lebanon, a problem in Yemen

from the Syrian side of the Golan Heights.

In Gaza

And in the West Bank… Remember that, please

trying to establish another front against

these missiles

we will work to dismantle

and still get the bomb

designed to intimidate

no one has done anything about it.

We will, we will. I promise, we will.

I love the people

The people

That can’t be broken

very strongly here

We’re trying to do the right thing

the most incredible things you have ever seen.

you can take out things that were unthinkable

it is so complicated and so terrible

Fences are easy, believe me.

It is so terrible.  It is so unfair

if I run

that can’t be broken

cherish each other

which could be possible

that they loved, that they really loved

we can’t… build the wall

That was unthinkable

Because we’re just going to lose more and more

and all of the other things

There are so many things;

there are so many things.

I love the people.

The people

that can’t be broken

We’re trying to do the right thing

the most incredible things you have ever seen.

where they’re crumbling

what are we doing?

They don’t know what is happening.

And we have a long way to go.

The problem is

the power

we send the battleships, we send the destroyers, we send our airplanes

What are we doing

What do you think they’re going to say

Come for love?

I love the people

the people

that can’t be broken

in a certain way, I wish I weren’t doing this

what we wanted

saved the world

we failed

what we wanted

something far better for the people

we failed

I am the only person

even mentioning the humiliation

as an impediment to peace

don’t take us anymore.

our borders charged

rapidly expanded

desperately in need of modernization and renewal

we can stop

we can

magically join the world community.

we bring together a group of people

the chances of peace really rise

I love the people

The people

that can’t be broken

Thank you all very much.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you very much, everybody.

Thank you.

Beautiful.

Thank you.

Westboro Baptist Church would like to apologize for being Westboro Baptist Church:

Orlando

for your horrible sorrow

by the Westboro Baptist Church(‘s press releases, ‘sermons,’ declarations and interviews)

they could wait breathlessly

when you are about to

become light to others

you and I might feel

We’re not making this

in your heart

Neighbor,

these past few hours

the world needs to hear

the elegant metaphor

when we awake

see things more

more and more

and more brightly

We need not doubt that this

grievous sorrow

in

opposition

to hate

is

an illumination, a change from darkness to light, from blindness to seeing

Shouldn’t the children get to see some

Of the hope that is in us

there are diversities of

hope for any human

for each day that

The unique

believes this

last hope

wherein we rejoice

but I can tell you

your dashed hopes

For each day

sound the bells of pride

the times and seasons

with grievous sorrow

will end

the pinnacle of your hopes

we serve

we love

persecutors shall stumble

hate

and its manifestation

are dimly seen

we love you… gay

we love you… lesbian

we love you… transgender

we need not doubt

Of the hope that is in us

Oh

Orlando

you and I might feel

We’re not making this

in your heart

Neighbor,

these past few hours

the world needs to hear

the elegant metaphor

of

hope
